Agriculture Ministry takes over Prawer Plan duties

The government approved a transfer of responsibilities on the Prawer Plan to resettle Bedouin in the Negev to the Ministry of Agriculture from the Prime Minister's Office. Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Yair Shamir and the ministry's CEO Rami Cohen will be responsible for the issue.
Shamir said after the decision that his office will continue passing legislation. "We want to reach a wide-ranging agreement between the Knesset factions whilst negotiating with the Bedouin. (Moran Azulay)
