Justice Minister Tzipi Livni responded to recent remarks by ministers regarding peace talks, saying: "In Israel, there is a group that wants to turn us into a country in siege. They are not offering an alternative plan – they just want us to be against everyone and cry out that the entire world is anti-Semitic."
The minister said she would be willing to put any diplomatic settlement to referendum, because she believes the majority of Israelis will back a settlement with the Palestinians. (Shahar Chai)
