David Grossman on asylum seekers policy: We cannot accept this
One of Israel's most respected authors, David Grossman, attended the asylum seekers' protest in Jerusalem. He said: "The policy is opaque and doomed to fail, we cannot accept this." Grossman chatted with several asylum seekers and told them that he "hopes that the humiliation they endure will end."
He added, "The suffering of Tel Aviv residents will be solved the moment there is a solution for you (the asylum seekers). I am ashamed and perplexed that we have reached this point." (Omri Efraim)
