Dutch ambassador to Israel summoned for clarification meeting
The Foreign Ministry has summoned the Dutch Ambassador to Israel Casper Veldkamp for a clarification meeting following a line of anti-Israel events in the past three months.
Foreign Ministry’s deputy director-general for Europe Rafi Schutz told the ambassador that the decisions to boycott Israel are unacceptable. It was stressed that Israel expects the Dutch government to take a significant stand against boycotts. (Attila Somfalvi)
