Eini: Sharon was a central pillar of Israel
Labor Federation Chairman Ofer Eini eulogized former prime minister Ariel Sharon, noting that he was "one of the eminent leaders – a leader from a generation of giants."
Eini said, "Sharon was one of the central pillars which shaped the way the country took and in his humble manner he always did this from a deep belief in the future of the Israeli society. As befitting one of the most esteemed officers in the IDF, Sharon fought until his very last day." (Ynet)
