Science Minister says Israel joining CERN is 'significant step'

Science Minister Ya'akov Peri congratulated Israel's official joining into the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), which operates the particle accelerator in Geneva. "This is a significant step for Israeli science," he said.
He added that the Israeli scientists will benefit from the access options to the advanced scientific infrastructure within the organization, and the organization will benefit from the brilliant Israeli minds which take part in its research. (Moran Azulay)
