Herzog: Lapid should have labeled Bennett as a neighbor
Chairman of the opposition, Labor MK Isaac Herzog, responded to Treasury Minister Yair Lapid's Friday remarks – when the minister said Bennett "has been demoted to cousin" – saying: "It's nice that he lowered Bennett to a cousin, but actually it would be appropriate to
place him, at best, as the neighbor-across-the-street."

He added: "Lapid talks about his wish for two states, but in actuality sits in a government that promotes settlement construction, is leading Israel into international isolation, and hurts the alliance between Israel and the US – and as a result turning us on to the fast lane to bi-national country."
