Eritrean man arrested intentionally, wants food and shelter

A 24-year-old Eritrean was arrested after arriving at the Petah Tikvah police station and allegedly threatening a security guard with a rock. The guard called for police officers who arrested the suspect.
Police investigation discovered that the suspect had served 28 days in prison for similar felonies and was recently released. The suspect told officers that he performs these acts in order to be arrested because he has no home and no money to buy food. He is being detained during the investigation. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
