Yadlin: No deal with the Palestinians can be reached this year
Director of the Institute for National Security Studies Maj. Gen. (res.) Amos Yadlin said in a strategic assessment conference that "in our estimate, we will not be able to reach an agreement with the Palestinians this year."
According to him, the Palestinian issue was one of the most significant and troubling issues in 2013 and will carry on next year. Yadlin added that the chance of reaching a settlement with neighboring countries is low, "but there also opportunities alongside risks." (Gilad Morag)
