A weapons cache from the time of the British Mandate was uncovered Monday in kibbutz Mesilot in Northern Israel. The stash was revealed when infrastructure work for the construction of a classroom in the local school was taking place. A sapper from the Northern District transferred the weapons to the police station in Beit She'an.
60 different kinds of weapons were found in the slick. Beit She'an's Police Chief Superintendent Amos Shimoni said that the packaging in which the weapons were sealed was so good that some of the weapons were preserved in new condition. (Ahiya Raved)
