Yesh Atid ministers present national nutrition program
Yesh Atid ministers Yair Lapid, Meir Cohen, Shai Piron, and Yael German presented the national nutrition program Tuesday in Beersheba. The plan budget is NIS 230 million ($65 million) for the upcoming year.
According to the ministers' plan, 110 million shekels ($31.5 million) will be spent on providing 75,000 students with hot meals. Thirty million shekels ($8.5 million) will be used to provide Holocaust survivors and at-risk youth with meals. The rest of the budget will be allocated to 24,000 needy families through charity foundations. (Omri Efraim)
