Indictments filed against suspects with ties to al-Qaeda
Jerusalem District prosecutor's office filed and indictment with the city's district court against two of the suspects in an al-Qaeda plot to stage bombings in Israel.
Iyad Abu Sara from east Jerusalem was accused of contacting a foreign operative and supporting a terror organization. Rubin Abi Najma from a village near Nablus was indicted for an attempted attack, manufacture and possession of weapons, as well as other violations. Last week it was cleared for publication that the two were planning an attack on the US embassy in Tel Aviv. (Aviel Magnezi)
