Peres slams Bennett's comments that Palestinians kill Jews: 'Is it 1948?'

President Shimon Peres responded to Economy Minister Naftali Bennett's speech Tuesday in which he said that Jews cannot live with Palestinians because the latter kill them.
Peres said: "What is this fear that has struck us? The we will be killed? Today? The fear was well placed in 1948 when we had no cannons or tanks or planes against seven armies." (Shahar Chai)
