The military says at least six people, including two television journalists, were wounded when a home-made bomb exploded on a roadside in the southern Philippines. The blast early Saturday happened in an area where government troops have been battling Muslim insurgents opposed to a new peace deal.
Regional military spokesman Col. Dickson Hermoso said the victims were hit by shrapnel from the blast in Maguindanao province's Datu Saudi Ampatuan township. He says there were no serious injuries.(AP)
