Submachine guns discovered during a vehicle search in Tulkarm checkpoint
A 37-year-old man from the village of Barta'a was arrested along with two men in their early twenties, after three submachine guns were found in their cars during a search. Additionally, the search turned up 11,000 shekels ($3,150). The three arrived from Tulkarm and searched at a checkpoint.
The 37-year-old man and the 22-year-old man claimed they were not aware of the weapons in the vehicle. The third suspect connected himself to the case. The three have been taken in for questioning. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
