Mubarak: Sisi should be president
In a rare interview, former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak – deposed three years ago at the beginning of the Arab Spring – said that the current Defense Minister el-Sisi should be the next president.
The interview aired on Thursday night on Al-Arabiya. The deposed dictator declared that the Egyptian people want el-Sisi. "They want him and the people will get what they want, they will win the struggle," said Mubarak to the Kuwaiti news outlet. (Roi Kais)
