Comptroller on mob hits: Regular people are scared to leave their homes
State Comptroller Joseph Shapiro commented on the recent wave of mob assassinations during Tuesday's session of the Knesset Comptroller Committee, saying "there is an atmosphere of terror, people are scared to leave their homes and it projects onto economic life."

Shapiro further noted that "people are jittery and this is a situation we need to take care of. The recent events speak for themselves." (Aviel Magnezi and Moran Azulay)
