Jerusalem police probing 'price tag' attack in village

Jerusalem Police are investigating an attack directed at Arabs in the East Jerusalem village of Sharafat, close to Gilo.

Some 30 vehicles had their tires slashed overnight and the phrases "No coexistence" and "Arabs = thieves" were sprayed on walls.

These attacks, which occur on a regular basis, are known as "price tag" attacks as they are considered to be a direct reply by far-rightists to peace moves with the Palestinians. (Noam Dvir)
