MK Regev: Construction freezes have failed in past
MK Miri Regev, a member of the Lobby for Greater Israel, commented on the letter the lobby intends to send Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu slamming demands to freeze settlement construction in the West Bank as part of US-brokered peace talks.
"Construction freezes have failed in the past. There are no more free gifts. Netanyahu and the world need to understand that pressure on Israel will not lead to more concessions. The State of Israel has the right to defend itself. Peace can be exchanged for peace, not for lands or construction freezes." (Moran Azulay)
