Interior Minister Gideon Sa'ar declared at a march in the Jordan Valley that the settlers in the area "are on a mission for the entire Israeli people. The settlement in the (Jordan) Valley will remain and prosper for generations to come." Coalition Chairman Yariv Levin
and Knesset Member Orit Struck are also taking part in the right-wing march.
According to Sa'ar, "the alternative is that the border would cross through Kfar Saba and Netanya, which is unacceptable. This is why the presence here is important. There is no military presence without settlement. When there's no settlement – there's no security and there's terror." (Moran Azulay)
