Bennett instructs party members to refrain from attending protest against enlistment bill

Economy Minister and Bayit Yehudi leader Naftali Bennett said that the enlistment bill is good for the nation and instructed his party members to refrain from attending the protest that is to be held in Jerusalem on Sunday.

Bennett explained: "You won't find any mention of criminal sanctions in the bill. Those who shout that they need to speak out, know that no yeshiva student will be sent to jail. The bill is fair. Military service is not an edict, it's a mitzvah (commandment of the Jewish law)." (Moran Azulay)
