Iran President accuses West of assassinating nuclear scientists

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani accused the western states of assassinating scientists who worked on the Iranian nuclear program.

“You were informed of the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program, then why did you assassinate our nuclear scientists and killed our missile specialists while we have and will make use of our missiles just for defending our country,” the Fars news agency quoted the president as asking. Since 2012, five nuclear scientists have been killed and Iran blames the West and Israel for the assassinations. (Ynet)
