Assad: Kerry's peace plan is a plot to consecrate the Jewish state
Syrian President Bashar Assad said Tuesday that US Secretary of State John Kerry's efforts to mediate peace between Israel and the Palestinians are a plot that "seeks to consecrate Israel and a Jewish state."
Speaking to a Jordanian delegation in Damascus, Assad accused Kerry of trying to "remove the Arab people of Palestine and liquidating the Palestinian cause ad the expense of Palestine and Jordan." (Ynetnews)
