Shaked Committee rejects objections to draft bill, pushes legislation forward

The Shaked Committee charged with formulating a new IDF enlistment law which will also include the conscription of haredim men has rejected all the objections filed against the bill's current formulation.
The move allows the bill to continue through the legislative process, where it will not be voted on in a second and third reading. Thus, the committee has completed its duty to reformulate the bill without making any significant changes demanded by the haredi factions. (Moran Azulay)
