Pillar of Defense Tel Aviv bus bomber sentenced to 25 years
Muhammad Mafarja, who bombed a Tel Aviv bus on the last day of Operation Pillar of Defense wounding dozens, was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Monday.


Mafarja, 20, admitted to the charges, as part of a plea bargain deal, that he planted an explosive on the number 142 bus in Tel Aviv. He was convicted of attempted murder, causing serious bodily harm and intent to aide the enemy. (Naama Cohen-Friedman)
