Iran's President Rouhani plans to visit Oman

TEHRAN - Iran's foreign ministry spokeswoman said Tuesday that President Hassan Rouhani will travel to neighboring Oman, the first official visit to an Arab country by the president since he took office in 2013.

Rouhani will be accompanied by a ranking economic delegation on the two-day visit, which starts Wednesday and aims to boost relations, Marzieh Afkham told reporters. (AP)
