Russian diplomat stabbed near embassy in Canada

Ottawa police say a Russian diplomat was stabbed at an apartment building near his embassy in Canada.
Police Insp. Murray Knowles said Friday that the 44-year-old man's injuries were not life-threatening. Authorities have not released the victim's name and say it's not yet clear what prompted the attack. A Canadian man was taken into custody with help from Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers who were near the building at the time of the stabbing Friday morning. (AP)
