Hundreds protest in Paris against the war in Syria
Hundreds of demonstrators gathered around the Eiffel Tower Saturday to mark the third anniversary of the civil war in Syria which claimed the lives of more than 146,000 victims.
"We want to remind the government that the crisis in Syria continues and Syrians continue to get killed and starve to death," said the president of the French Amnesty. An Amnesty activist added that "France has a history with Syria and could do more to assist it". (AFP)
