Hundreds of Palestinians protest UNRWA food aid cuts in Gaza
Hundreds of Palestinians have protested in Gaza on Sunday against cuts that were made to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) food program in the Strip, Al Jazeera reported.

In recent months, UNRWA has reduced the number of Palestinian families in Gaza who are receiving urgent food aid by about 65 percent, Al Jazeera quoted a refugees representative as saying.

Protesters were also angry at the organization's poverty survey, according to which the UN agency decides which families to keep on the list of those receiving food aid. (Ynetnews)
