Report: Missing plane flew in low altitude to avoid radars

Malaysian Airlines claims that the missing plane flew in 4900 feet altitude to avoid radars, according to Australian news website The Independent.

The airline added that it's a military technique used to avoid enemy aircrafts with which the plane flew over at least three countries undetected. The Australian site further reported the possibility that the plane landed in the Afghanistan-Pakistan border controlled by the Taliban. (Ynet)
