US Navy took over an oil tanker abducted earlier this month by Libyan militants. US operation to seize the tanker came at request of Libyan and Cypriot governments and was authorized by president Barack Obama - US department of Defense statement. The Tanker was boarded Sunday night in international waters southeast of Cyprus. (Reuters)
