Obama: Abbas is someone who consistently renounced violence, sought peace
US President Barack Obama hailed Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas Monday as "somebody who consistently renounced violence, consistently sought a diplomatic and peaceful solution."
During a press conference with the visiting PA president, Obama said the two will spend the bulk of their time together working to achieve a comprehensive peace accord between Israel and the Palestinians. (Ynetnews)
