Ashton: EU opposes boycott against Israel
BRUSSELS - The European Union is opposed to the boycott against Israel, EU foreign policy chief said Monday after a meeting with European foreign ministers in Brussels.
"The EU is opposed to the boycott against Israeli companies. We do not want to see Israel isolated," Catherine Ashton said during a press conference.
Ashton said that the EU policy towards the Israeli settlements remained unchanged, condemning Israel's settlement policy in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. (AFP)
