IDF opens fire at suspects that were climbing on Egypt border fence

An IDF force identified two suspects who tried to climb on Israel's border fence with Egypt on Monday, and opened fire at them when they ignored calls to stop, according to the rules of engagement.

One of the suspects managed to cross from Sinai into Israel and was caught. The other was shot in his left, was lightly wounded, and fled towards Sinai.

Both suspects were unarmed. (Yoav Zitun)
