Histadrut says Foreign Ministry workers are 'spearhead' of Israel
Avi Nissenkorn, the chairman of the Trade Union Division in the Histadrut, addressed the Foreign Ministry workers' general strike, saying "the ministry's employees are the spearhead of the State of Israel." He also said the Finance Ministry "must understand the nature of their mission and match their salaries to the appropriate cost of living."
Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman scheduled a press conference for Tuesday to discuss the general strike of his ministry's workers, which began on Sunday. (Attila Somfalvi)
