31-year-old climber killed after being hit in the head with rock
A 31-year-old man was killed Saturday after being hit in the head from a rock that rolled down a cliff in the Western Galilee.
The man was a part of a group of climbers who climbed cliffs using wooden sticks that are being pinned to the rocks, Ynet learned. He had enough time to call out "rock" and warn his fellow climbers, but did not have enough time to escape it. (Maor Buchnik, Ahiya Raved)
