Arab youths threw stones at demonstration for Land Day

Some 50 Arab youths threw stones at police on Saturday at Sultan Suleiman St. in East Jerusalem protesting ahead of "Land Day" on Sunday. The police arrested six people for disturbing the peace. No injuries were reported.

The High Follow-Up Committee for Arab citizens of Israel announced a general strike on Sunday including all the local municipalities, school and businesses. (Noam 'Dabul' Dvir)
