Foreign journalists wounded in 'Land Day' protest
Jerusalem – Several protesters and four journalists from AFP and Reuters were lightly wounded Saturday evening in a demonstration for "Land Day" near the Damascus Gate in East Jerusalem, AFP reported. Six Palestinian were arrested.
According to the French news agency, the journalists were wounded by bullets fired by the Israeli police. An AFP photographer was lightly hit in the head by a bullet and was briefly hospitalized. (AFP)
