Palestinian minister warns of international campaign against Israel

The Palestinian Authority is mulling an international campaign against Israel, focusing primarily on allegations of human rights abuses, Palestinian Minister for Prisoner Affairs Issa Karaka told Army Radio on Wednesday.

Karaka told the radio that international institutions would be able to determine whether Palestinians held in Israeli jails should be defined as prisoners of a state or prisoners of an occupied country, instead of terrorists or criminals as is claimed by Israel, which he said held them under military law.
