Livni: Peace talks are in 'crisis' but must continue

Israel's chief negotiator in peace talks with the Palestinians Tzipi Livni said Saturday the talks are in "crisis" but must continue.

Speaking to Channel 2, Livni said "this is a real crisis" that is "very complicated." However, she said wants talks to continue in the hope they will yield a peace agreement.

She also said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas should talk directly. (AP)
