Witnesses say clashes between an Arab clan and a Nubian family have restarted in Egypt's south despite high-profile government mediation, a day after 23 were killed in the protracted feud.
A Nubian resident reached by telephone said gunmen from the Arab Haleyla clan were attacking his neighborhood Sunday on the edge of Aswan city. He said: "We are dying. They are attacking us." He spoke on condition of anonymity because he feared for his life. (AP)
