Frazier Glenn Miller

The profile of a killer: 'We are slaves to the Jews'

Frazier Glenn Miller, 73, who killed three people in two Jewish centers in the outskirts of Kansas City, was a part of the Ku Klux Klan, was an anti-Semite and believed in white supremacy. In his autobiography 'A White Man Speaks Out' he writes: 'I declare war against the Zionists. Strike them for your children.'

"White people, unlike Jews, have no power at all. We don't have leaders, we don't have unity, we don't have power at all," Frazier Glenn Miller said in an interview in 2012, revealing a little of the anti-Semitic beliefs of the man who murdered three people in two Jewish centers in the suburbs of Kansas City. The 73-year-old killer, who is also known as Glenn Miller or Fraizer Cross, is the former grand dragon of the Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.

He began his rampage at about 1 pm, local time, shooting dead a Christian man and his 14-year-old grandson, as well as a woman in her 70s. He was captured a short while afterwards and booked on a preliminary charge of first-degree murder.

Miller, who was born in November 1940, became a follower of white supremacy and was known over the years for his many anti-Semitic and racist comments.

Living in Aurora, Missouri, Miller ran for the US Senate in 2006 and again in 2010 but lost to Roy Blunt, who is now a US senator from the state. Miller's 2010 campaign was filled with racist and anti-Semitic campaign ads, but election laws forced local TV and radio stations to broadcast them against their will.

In 1980, Miller founded e Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan until the center sued him for operating an illegal paramilitary organization and using intimidation tactics against blacks. He later founded another white supremacist group, the White Patriot Party.

Miller, an Army veteran and retired truck driver, was the subject of a nationwide manhunt in 1987 after he violated the terms of his bond while appealing a North Carolina conviction for operating a paramilitary camp. The search ended after federal agents found Miller and three other men in a mobile home filled with hand grenades, automatic weapons and thousands of rounds of ammunition.

Over the years, he ran a website that turned into a self-manifest praising the "white race." The site is filled with anti-Semitic texts, and includes chapters from Miller's autobiography "A White Man Speaks Out."

In one of the chapters, called "A Message to White Youth," Miller writes: "Never doubt your superiority... Jew television is enemy intelligence. Watch it. Study it. And analyze it closely... The Jews seek to lead you into ruin and racial suicide."

He went on to say: "Keep your Race pure at all costs.... You were born in bondage to the Jews. Your parents are programmed and contented slaves too paralyzed by fear, intimidation, and ignorance of the truth to free themselves or you. Therefore, you were born to fight."

In another chapter, "Becoming A Nazi," Miller tells of how he joined a Nazi group, the National Socialist Party of America (NSPA), in February 1976 in Raleigh, North Carolina. He tells of the movement leader, Harold Covington, and his run for the office of the attorney general. Miller said Covington was his role model, because he was able to hide the fact he was a Nazi from 98% of his voters.

"In fact, one small Black Republican group voted overwhelmingly for Harold, and when asked why after the election, their spokesman said they thought Harold's opponent was the Nazi because his name was Snyder, and Snyder sounds more German than Covington," Miller wrote.

The killer also described an incident from 1978 in which he went to town with friends while wearing Nazi uniforms.

"We stopped at an old country store, which contained six or eight Black males and the White store operator, to get chasers. I had on my Nazi uniform, including a swastika arm band, and on seeing this, the operator informed me he did not serve Nazis in his store. On hearing this, the Blonde fellow ran back to my car, and came back with a huge .357 Magnum pistol I didn't even know he had, and started yelling at the operator and the Blacks, calling them all Niggers or Nigger-lover, while waving the pistol at the Blacks and pointing it in the face of the store operator. 'I'll kill all them sons-of-bitches,' he yelled."

'War against the Zionists'

In the book's last chapter called "War Declaration," Miller describes the declaration he made in April 1978 to Aryan groups as well as politicians and law enforcement.

"I warned those federal SOB's. I told them repeatedly that if ZOG (Zionist Occupation Government) framed our leaders that we would wage war against them because war would then be our only hope for the survival of our Race. All 5,000 White Patriots are now honor bound to pick up the sword and do battle."

Miller went on to write: "I, Glenn Miller, this 6th day of April 1987, do herewith declare total war against ZOG."

He also called on his Aryan friends to join the battle.

"Strike for your homeland. Strike for your Southern honor. Strike for the little children. Strike for your wives and loved ones. Strike for the millions of innocent White babies murdered by Jew-legalized abortion, who cry out from their graves for vengeance. Strike for the millions of our people raped or assaulted or murdered by mongrels. Strike for the millions of our Race butchered in Jew wars. Strike brothers and sisters for all the outrages committed against our people.

"Let the blood of our enemies flood the streets, rivers, and fields of the nation in holy vengeance and justice... Strike the SOB's."

'Michael Jackson - the Jews' superstar'

In 1984 Miller gave an interview to a racist website called The Order, and continued spreading his dogma.

"Our army is flooded with inferior populations because of Jewish influence that forces our government to recruit them. We need to regain control of our destiny. We don't want the future of the white nation will be enslaved by minorities and Jews."

Miller told of a conversation he had with his father in which the father claimed the Jews control the media.

"I thought he was insane. I told myself, how is it possible that the Jews control the media? I realize that all of the anti-white and anti-Christian propaganda comes from Jewish influence and from the mass media that is controlled by the Jews. They have been controlling it for a long time and they are working to exterminate the white race."

His hate speak only increased as the interview went on. "Anybody with a good eyesight should be able to look at Jews and tell that they're not God's chosen people. We believe God had better taste than that. Next to blacks and Eskimoes, the Jews are the ugliest people on the face of the earth."

Miller had quite a few grievances with politicians as well, who were the Jews' servants, according to him. "They're all in favor of more and more billions of dollars in giveaway aid to Israel, which proves the power of the Jews over our government... They dictate foreign policy and domestic policy.

"Ronald Reagan (then US president) wouldn't be where he is today without the Jews' support. (Henry) Kissinger (then secretary of state) was a Jew from Germany who barely spoke English and he's the second most powerful man in this state for over eight years."

Miller also talked about the Jewish influence on films and music.

"The Jews are destroying our youth's souls... by encouraging race mixing. The Jews put up (Michael Jackson) as a superstar to make race-mixing receptive to young people."

In radio broadcasts Miller uploaded to his website, he continues spreading hate: "It's not the liberals, democrats or republicans that control the United States. It's the Jews, you idiot! They control everything that happens in the American administration. Why is it that both the administration and the media support Israel's wars and we have to pay for it?"

'Our women mix with blacks'

In another radio broadcast he turns to the white man: "Hey, do you know who controls the media? It's the Jews, you idiot! Any politician knows that... In 1960, white people were 90% of the US population. Now we're less than half. Our children's future is a nightmare. It can't be that our women would mix with blacks."

The Jews, however, were not the only ones in Miller's line of fire. In a TV show interview Miller attacked the blacks in the US and worldwide.

"They are calling for freedom, but you have to have complete separation between the races. We want to do this in a humane manner. There's enough room for everyone in the United States."

Miller went on with his racist comments, while sitting next to an African-American man. "Blacks can't reach our standards and compete on equal terms. Our country is going down the drain and we are going to end up like Uganda. This is what would happen if we continue mixing between the races."

SITE, a US-based terror monitoring group, said Monday that Miller is a prominent member of the Vanguard News Network and has posted thousands of messages - including frequent calls for genocide against Jews - on the neo-Nazi forum's website. His most recent post was Saturday.

Reat Griffin Underwood, 14, a high school freshman, and his grandfather, Dr. William Corporon, both members of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, were killed in the shooting in the Jewish community center in the outskirts of Kansas City.

In the shooting at nearby "Village Shalom" retirement home, a yet unnamed woman in her 70s was killed. Miller shot at two other people, who escaped unharmed.

In a press briefing, the Kansas City police commander said Miller shot at his victims with a hunting rifle, and he may have possessed other weapons. According to the police chief, Miller did not know his victims.

The police chief said the suspect made several statements to police, "but it's too early to tell you what he may or may not have said." He also said it was too early in the investigation to determine whether there was an anti-Semitic motive for the attacks or if they will be investigated as hate crimes.

"We are investigating it as a hate crime. We're investigating it as a criminal act. We haven't ruled out anything," he said.

According to police, the attacks happened within minutes of one another. A gunman opened fire on two people in the parking lot behind the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City. He then drove a few blocks away to a Jewish retirement community, Village Shalom, and gunned down a woman or girl there, Douglass said. Officers arrested the suspect in a school parking lot a short time later.

Auditions for a singing competition took place at the community center during the shooting, and according to reports, 75 youths were at the center at the time.

Media reports in the US said Miller called "Heil Hitler" while shooting.

The local Kansas City community rabbi, Herbert Mendel, told CNN that the shooter "asked whether these were Jews before opening fire. This is a quiet community, we never experienced something that that. There are 18,000 Jews living here."

The Kansas City Star reported that Miller served in the military during the Vietnam war and served three years in prison for arms possessions. It was also reporter that Miller testified against his friends to get a lighter punishment in the case of the murder of a Denver radio show host.

US President Barack Obama said Sunday night that he instructed his team to remain in close contact with the FBI and local law authorities and "prove all the necessary resources to the investigation."

He also sent his condolences "to the families and friends who lost a loved one and to anyone else affected by this tragedy," and added that while not all details of the investigation were clear, "preliminary reports are heartbreaking."

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
