Report: Head of crime syndicate may have attempted to commit suicide

Police units and Magen David Adom emergency personnel were called Thursday afternoon to the home of a senior member of Israel's organize crime scene. He was found at the scene with a bullet wound.
According to initial estimates, the mafia member may have tried to commit suicide. MDA crews provided emergency care and evacuated him to a nearby hospital. He is in critical condition. Police have designated the man as the head of an organized crime syndicate. (Eli Senyor)
