1947-1967: Rare archive videos of Israel released

Hours of rare historical footage filmed by the British news archive British Pathé has recently been uploaded to Youtube.com, offering internet denizens and history buffs alike a few black and white gems from the twentieth century.

Among the treasures the archive published are videos from Israel's first years, from the time of the British Mandate into the late sixties. Some of the videos are narrated, but others are raw footage which was left discarded on the editing room floor.
