Iran welcomes reconciliation between Hamas, Fatah against 'Zionist regime'

TEHRAN - Iran welcomed the "reconciliation" between Hamas and the PLO against "the Zionist regime," the official IRNA news agency reported on Saturday.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes reconciliation between Palestinian groups against the Zionist regime ... and against the excessive demands and attacks of the occupation regime of al-Qods (Jerusalem)," said the spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Afkham Marzieh, quoted by IRNA.
