Passenger train derails in India; at least 8 dead

NEW DELHI - Police say a passenger train has derailed in western India, killing at least eight people and injuring 57 others.
Police officer Ankush Shinde says the engine and four coaches jumped the tracks Sunday near Roha station, 110 kilometers (70 miles) south of Mumbai.
Railway spokesman Anil Kumar Saxena says the rescue operation is underway as two of the derailed coaches tilted on one side. (AP)
