Jerusalem: Boy who threw stone at police car arrested, youths attack officers

An Arab boy threw a stone at police officers who were conducting traffic enforcement duties near the tomb of Shimon HaTzadik in Jerusalem on Saturday, smashing the windshield of their car. After the boy was arrested, Arab youths huddled around the officers and attacked them, while trying to release the boy.

Reinforcement teams who arrived at the scene detained six youths who were suspected of attacking the officers. Two officers who were lightly wounded received treatment on the spot. (Noam 'Dabul' Dvir)
