State Comptroller report: 1 in 8 Tel Aviv residents - a foreigner

A total of 13 percent of Tel Aviv residents are of foreign nationalities, State Comptroller Joseph Shapira said in a report published Wednesday afternoon. The report further claimed that in 5 neighborhoods in southern Tel Aviv where there was a majority of foreign nationals – Neve Shaanan, Florentine, Shapira, Kiryat Shalom and Hatikvah.
Senior residents in these neighborhoods expressed a difficult sense of loss of personal security. The comptroller depicts a gloomy picture of the state of these neighborhoods;
