Israel Prize laureate and actress Hannah Meron passed away Friday at the age of 90. Maron died at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center with her family by her side.
Maron was born in Berlin in 1923, and began her long acting career as a child, appearing in several plays, films, and radio plays. In 1945 she joined the Cameri Theater in Tel Aviv. In 1973, Maron was awarded the Israel Prize in theatre. (Ynet)
