Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Shimon Peres each called newly-elected Egyptian president Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Friday to congratulate him for his election win.
The prime minister stressed the strategic importance of cooperation between the two countries and the importance of maintaining the Camp David peace accords. (Attila Somfalvi)
